A simply romantic wedding in the country side of Washington. Every aspect of this wedding was so beautiful, especially because the bride and groom had DIYed so much of the decorations! They planned the ceremony and reception all in a relative's backyard, but we were able to sneak away to a near by lake for the first look. We especially wanted to get some beautiful bridal shots for the sunset in the mountains, but after the sparkler send off we started driving and realized we weren't going to make it back in time. But I swear we had telepathy or something because we were driving separate cars but we both pulled off to the side of the road as we spotted an open golden field just begging for us to take pictures in it. So we hopped the fence and cherished those last moment of light... just goes to show that sometimes the unexpected ends up being even better than anything we can prepare for and I'm so thankful for each and every adventurous and spontaneous couple I get to meet.
